I know you guys want some rock stuff so I'm trying to get some in here!

This one is using string skipping to make a 3-note-per-string pattern sound more interesting. It's a great technique builder - those striggling might wanna go check out my legato lessons.

Once you got the technique try applying it to all your 3-note-per-string major scale patterns and then maybe try and take the idea into pentatonics - it's real interesting..
