can anyone show the 3rd. pattern for the g scale at second position

Yep  - I think that lots of people who start playing these patterns have got problem with fingers in next positions (2-5). I mean - Justin should make a video where he will show right fingering for 3rd. and 4th. patterns in positions 2 to 5. Is it possible?

Cheers!

Sorry, but i have a different question. I have got a problem with my little finger from my left hand(4th finger). Is it ok if i play the scales only with the other 3 fingers?

hey when justin said to start on the root note of the scale did he mean the lowest root note, or the first root note to appear?

for example:if i were playing c dorian (position 2) should i start on the c on the 8th fret of the e string? or should i just start on the c on the 10th fret of the d string?

Hope you understand my question and thanks in advance!

In the part about the D major scale, Justin says this: "...as the Dorian position because the lowest note is the second scale degree."  What is the second scale degree and why do I care about it.

Much thanks,
Chris
