Very funny!
Have you ever had to do that on stage in front of a large audience?

haha, Slid the pick in to the middle of the guitar and spin it upside down very quick. Might take a bit of practice but you will get there :-P

Interesting technique, but I find that my 3-year-old is faster.  Yup, he is just old enough and just small enough to get the job done.  The only problem is keeping a 3-year-old around continuously.

Have a pocket full of Picks, and leave the one you just lost in there  Grin

But really, I use the method AceOfaces just said above  Wink
It works OK.

Fun video!

I find it easiest to shake the guitar while it's upside down. Pick usually just bounces right out.

I liked this video. With my (very little) experience, I've found the quickest and simplest way to get it out of the guitar is to hold it upside down, get both hands on both sides of the guitar body, and give it some fairly violent shakes. Nothing damaging to the guitar... in fact, I hold the body on both sides rather than the neck because I'm afraid of damaging it. Eventually, and in fact, fairly quickly it will fall out of the guitar. Now, bear in mind, I said this was the quickest way of getting it out of the guitar. Depending on your surroundings, however, you might find you need another few minutes to find it on the floor or fetch it out from under the couch because it tends to fly out pretty good if you use this method.

If I were on stage, I'd simply use another pick - you can never have too many readily available.  But at home or off-stage, I find that getting the pick lined up with the sound hole and then inserting the eraser end of a pencil to be very effective ... although I've also employed the shake and twirl method.

I'd probably change the guitar. I also dont use ANY of the techniques shown in the vid. I simply use my hand. Tongue

A pencil or longer thin piece of wood with a blob of bluetak on the end normally does the trick! Cool  though it wouldn't look cool on stage...
