Morning Justin. Other lessons on the site are inspiring, but this? This is a virtuoso performance. Was wondering whether you'd do one for we early-onset Alzheimer's patients about "Where in God's name did I put the freaking guitar...."?

Love your work, and thanks for all the help.

Seems you made a mistake and the video is the one about getting the pick out of the guitar.

So... the strings are tuned like the additional ones on a 12 string?
Hope i got that right so far.
But instead of building a new set from existing sets wouldn't it be possible / easier
to buy a 12 string set, and just take the additional strings for Nashville?
The other strings that aren't needed for the Nashville-Tuning maybe could be used as "normal" set then.

Is this possible or have i missed something? Huh

U cannot use a normal string set coz u'll be tunig your 3rd 4rth 5th 6th strings a whole octave high well the thick E and A strings can take that tension i guess but the G and D string will break so u need a hybrid set.. i guess u dont get loose strings in the market so just buy 2 sets and mix em up..

How much tension does it exert on the neck as opposed to a normal set of strings?
Is there a way to roughly calculate which gauge to use to achieve similar tension on the neck as with a normal set?

Like, could I use the octave strings of a medium 12-string set (13-35) on a guitar that is set up for normal lights (12-53)?
