I love the 2v it just seems to be broken down into manageable chunks. It's terribly organized. I know exactly what I'm doing every day now. Thanks to you!

It's very well organized! I had progressed quite far in the previous beginners course but am starting over again with v2 to make sure I have my basics right. Keep up the good work!

I don't know how to use the site lol its confusing What don't you understand dude? If your a beginner - start with the beginners course. If you are more advanced, just look about and see what stuff you need to learn! J

I had gone through about 1/3rd of the v1 course.. that was good. v2 is even better, the lessons are more detailed and the course is well organized. Especially loved the 'forcing the changes' lesson.. really helped a lot. Thanks for the amazing work Justin and Jedi ! Cheers !

Lemme know what you think of the course...
Have just received the course on DVD but unable to open it on my PC? Tried with Real player, Quick player and Windows media player but nothing works. What is the problem?

It should open in the program that you would normally use to watch DVD's... Not sure what that is on a PC. If you are still stuck, try emailing Jedi (address on contact page). J

I've worked through most of the v2 Beginner's Course. I'm currently at stage 6.
For the past week or so I've finally decided to tackle the dreaded F-chord once and for all (been going through all the stages in order) and I'm getting faster and more accurate with the chord. Especially the one minute changes. I love how well structured the course is and how it's divided up into nice manageable little chunks. I've been "learning" to play the guitar for nearly two years now, but now, for the first time, I finally feel that I'm making steady progress instead of trying to randomly learn teeny tiny things every now and then, like I used to. Been stuck at this level for almost as long as I've been playing.
Once I finish the v2 Beginner's Course I'll have a serious go at either Blues Lead Guitar or the Major Scale DVD. Or both. I finally feel like I'm starting to get those essential basics under control, and that's just what this course has done for me.
In short, keep up the great work, Justin. I can't wait for the Intermediate Course!
Sven

Having used the on-line course for a few days I purchased the DVD set, to support Justin. Delivery was 3 days (UK address). The quality on my 40" LCD TV is excellent, well done whoever produced the video.
Trying to use the free on-line course caused me to jump around from lesson to lesson, not a good idea but that's what seems to happen. The DVD version transits from one video part to the next one in sequence and my Sony Blu-ray player remembers where you were when turning it off and on again some time later, so the experience is much better for learning methodically.
A reference book to support the DVD course would be nice, I have "Guitar for Dummies", as a reference, but would prefer a book by Justin (Guitar for Dummies is nothing like as good as justinguitar.com or the DVD).
If there is a version 3 of the course, could you consider omitting the "hello Justin here" style introductions, while nice initially they are a bit tedious when going through the first part of Disk 1. Also, maybe it's for copyright reasons, but some of the simple play along tunes would be welcome on the DVDs (Peggy Sue, Wild Thing, etc.) it would save having to go to the web for them.
Overall 9/10 and very impressed.

Just spent 2hrs on the online beginner's course and I'm sold. I have never enjoyed practicing my guitar so much despite my earlier experience with another paid online course as well as having personal 1-on-1 lessons.
I have ordered the DVD set this afternoon and waiting for it to arrive in Singapore! The youtube videos were extremely helpful.
Justin, you da man!

I'm finding the course great generally
It's just great having so much detail, nice steady pace with practical exercises.
I'm not always clear how well I need to have something down before moving on in the course - but generally find the info if I dig in the forum.
While I've found the course in general great - I've found the song lessons to be out of step with the rest of the course.
They often seem to be much shorter on explanation (eg the chords are shown but not whether for a bar, two bars or half a bar)
Also songs introduced seems to be out of step with the learning so far - (three little birds with down strums on the off beat and peggy sue with very fast strumming)
I guess that three little birds can be played without the off beat - but it's kinda hard to make much of it when you just play an A chord slowly for so long.
The course is great - but I'm finding myself looking elsewhere for easy songs to play.
Sean
