I highly recommend this follow up to RUGS pt1. The chords that justin covers in this book were a real eye opener for me and have opened up the fretboard to me in a big way. I've yet to master all of the chords that the book covers but already i'm beginning to play more interesting chord progressions and as a result noticing how these chords are being used in some songs i've wanted to learn but seemed a little out of my reach. An added bonus was realising that some of the chords in RUGS pt2 i already knew after using RUGS pt1 ' chord finding methods '
So for anyone thinking of going straight to this book, IMO it would be wise to fully work through RUGS pt1 first. Also if you are looking into playing a little jazz then you will get a good foundation of chords from this book. Overall i'm really pleased with both modules so far, they have helped me a great deal and i'm looking forward to RUGS pt3!
