Dodgy links

I know there are lessons not working (or written yet) - so think before you post! Wink

I will fix it and then delete the post so this area does not get too crammed up!
sorry if I can't reply every time, but I'll try!

I appreciate your patience while I get this thing going!

I don't know how to get a link back the main site from the forum Sad

If you want a big forum - read the Tips in this board!! - get rid of the (_frame) easy Smiley

In the PDF file of beginner's chords, the text for the description of "C" chord repeats itself, at the bottom of the first page.

http://www.justinguitar.com/images/BC_images/beginners%20chords.pdf

C Major - Open Chord Voicing
This chord can seem a little stretchy at first but it will soon limber up. Make
sure that the tip of your 3rd finger is touching the sixth string to mute it (the
low E is really not a hip sound). Also make sure that you are using the very tip
of your first finger so you don't mute the first or third strings.
Alternatives
No fingering alternatives that I know of, but sometimes the 4th finger goes
down on the third fret, first string (the note G), just as a variation (but it is still
just a C chord).C Major - Open Chord Voicing

Bad link here:

Lower part of the page, the red-coloured HERE link gets a 'not found' page:

"Justin is always clear, concise and is a great communicator, which is why this is a fantastic book for guitar players wanting to get their theory onto the instrument and demystify topics that too many other tutors make unnecessarily complex!".

if you follow this link, the phone number of the instructor in australia and the link to his email is missing

http://www.justinguitar.com/en/AA-025-RecommendedTeachers.php

"Australia Guitar Teachers

[...]
I'm not sure how much he charges (forgot to ask) but it's only a phone call to find out! He runs Southern Music which teaches other instruments and has other teachers too!

Hi everybody. I send you some mistakes I've seen in the Beginers Course. My browser is Firefox in Ubuntu 9.04 64 bits, however I think that all the problems I will mention are independent of the browser.

A very important problem for non-English users (as myself, I'm Spanish). There are some pdf of the videos (Justin transcription in English and maybe some translations). You can choose languages of the pdf, but you can't download the pdf in the same language you select the webpage. Take, for example, BC-101. The webpage is in English ,French, German, Spanish, Serbian, Romanian, and the pdf in English, French, german, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese. If I select the English languaje I can only choose French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese - NOT ENGLISH. If I select Spanish language, only nglish, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese - NOT SPANISH. Moreover, the stages 4-7 are not translated to any language, so they are only in English, and then NO ENGLISH PDF CAN BE DOWNLOADED. There is a trick, a direct dowload of http://www.justinguitar.com/vid-translations/BC-XXX-en.pdf changing XXX with the number of the lesson. However, I think that most of people can't find this trick.

I've seen some minor problems. In the bottom of BC-133 the link to lesson BC-134 is wrong, it is http://www.justinguitar.com/en/BC-133-1MinuteChanges.php but it must be http://www.justinguitar.com/en/BC-134-1MinuteChanges.php .

I can't see the videos in lessons BC-169 and BC-171, I think that the links are broken. The same happens with the image http://www.justinguitar.com/images/BCv2_images/171-OpenPositionNotes.gif in BC-171, the link is broken.

PD: Sorry for my bad English.

Nice update: BC-171 is fine and BC-193-194-195 are well numbered. And there are new topics in the forum for stages 5-9, thanks guys. Don't forget to include the links in the lessons (So click this link to get help with this lesson!)

Please fix the .pdfs problem, in my opinion it's a critical bug, specially for non-English users. I don't know if you understand the problem, for example the transcription BC-176-en.pdf is in your server but nobody can download it from its lesson http://www.justinguitar.com/en/BC-176-MinorPentatonic.php . And BC-104-es.pdf is translated in Spanish, but it can't be downloaded from the Spanish webpage lesson: http://www.justinguitar.com/es/BC-104-GuitarAnatomy.php

There's a minor bug, the video of BC-169 is missing because there is xxx in http://www.youtube.com/v/xxx&rel=1&color1=0x2b405b&color2=0x6b8ab6&border=0. I think it must be http://www.youtube.com/v/_NrUvgrrkL0&rel=1&color1=0x2b405b&color2=0x6b8ab6&border=0
