G Shape is a big deal - so many different ways to explore it with lots of notes that can be added in and you can combine the scale and chord together quite easily which makes it an interesting one for chord melody experiments and adding in melodic elements to your rhythm playing.

Interesting for many will be that I very rarely play the low 3rd (the note B, usually playing with Finger 1).

For me, the G Shape is the most fun to explore and I'll often use a capo to change the shapes I can use to play a song using a G Shape!
