Watch Me Transcribe Grant Green Live! :)

Following up on my Jazz guitar lesson with Jens Larsen, I thought I should livestream my 1-hour Jazz guitar practice with you. :)

I've heard about Grant Green many times but never deeply explored his music before. So I decided to dig deeper into him and picked Green Dolphin Street to transcribe.

💡 Transcribing is a great way to develop your ear and learn new techniques and ideas that you can incorporate into your own playing. It takes patience, focus, and dedication, but it's incredibly rewarding when you finally nail a tricky passage or solo.

Green Dolphin Street is a popular Jazz standard that Green recorded in 1961. It's relatively easy; however, I used to know it in the key of C, but I'm transcribing it in E Flat today. Let's see how that goes!
