Triads are 3-note chords, so why not Quadads for 4-note chords?

Quadads is the name I give to 4-note chords! It makes sense, right? You already know that Triads are 3-note chords, so I'm sure you get the idea! :) In the following lessons, we'll learn all about Quadads. What they are and how they formed in keys. By the end of this module, you'll know how to analyze Quadads and play them on the guitar.

When we're hip with Quadads and the importance of Chord Theory, we'll get into Suspended Chords. They're an awesome way of adding some chord embellishments to your playing. Sometimes, it only takes moving a finger.

These lessons are part of our Grade 5 - which means we're at the Intermediate level of our Music Theory journey. Fundamentally, it would be best if you took the time to understand all you're learning and how to apply it all to your instrument.
