The D'Addario XPND Reviewed!

D'Addario sent me their XPND (expand) pedalboard, saying it's a revolutionary way to organize your pedals. In this video, we'll meet this pedalboard and review it in depth. We'll also create a basic pedalboard setup and look at the best tips and tricks for creating them.

To begin with, I wasn't sure about the idea of an expanding pedalboard, and I wasn't sure I needed it. You can tell I don't do these videos too often! This board took me around 10 minutes to put together, and it was a painless build. The wiring was simple. And walking you through it was lots of fun! :)

As you can see in the video, it can double in size and has clips for keeping your cables tidy, which is unusual for a pedalboard like this. There's velcro on the top for pedals and on the bottom for the power supply. D'Addario provides velcro strips so you can attach your gear, and tools are provided. :)

In my basic setup, I used a wah-wah and volume pedal, an effects pedal, and an all-in-one pedal. It turned out to be the perfect size for my pedals and works great as a travel board for me.
